Here are the highlights from websites that focus on Apple:
From AppleInsider – The next generation iPad, which goes on sale in the first quarter of 2011, will feature two cameras, the website says, citing a report in Barron’s. Researcher Detwiler Fenton & Co. estimates that 2.5 million of the next generation iPads will be sold in the first quarter. “AppleInsider contacted Detwiler Friday in an effort to determine why Apple would place a high-resolution camera on the back of a 9.7-inch tablet, and why Apple would only build 2.5 million units of a device that sold more than 4 million last quarter,” the website says. “Multiple e-mails and voicemails were not returned.”
From Mac Rumors: — Fortune magazine’s lengthy profile of Verizon (NYSE: VZ) CEO Ivan Seidenberg detail’s the telecom provider’s rocky relationship with Apple. The wireless provider even turned down the chance to become the exclusive seller of the iPhone out of concern about the revenue sharing agreement. All is forgiven since the Verizon iPhone is due to go on sale next year.
