24/7 Wall St. continued its ongoing evaluations of Starbucks stores, this times visiting a number of locations in Manhattan.
A few of the special Christmas gifts from the coffee retailer:
1. Dirty toilets. It would not be too very hard for employees to clean up every once in a while.
2. No spoons. Starbucks will sell customers food that must be eaten with a spoon but will have no spoons in the store to e
at it. It cannot be hard to anticipate how many spoons are needed to cover daily traffic.
3. No peppermint. Buy a peppermint drink, popular this time of year, and find out that a store has none of it.
4. Lines which are too long. Some customers walk in and walk out. The wait is not worth it.
5. No seats. A large number of the Starbucks in places with heavy traffic have too few seats to accommodate even a small number of people.
6. No food. Some stores run out of the most popular food items early in the day
