24/7 Wall St. continued its ongoing evaluations of Starbucks stores, this times visiting a number of locations in Manhattan.
A few of the special Christmas gifts from the coffee retailer:
1. Dirty toilets. It would not be too very hard for employees to clean up every once in a while.
2. No spoons. Starbucks will sell customers food that must be eaten with a spoon but will have no spoons in the store to eat it. It cannot be hard to anticipate how many spoons are needed to cover daily traffic.
3. No peppermint. Buy a peppermint drink, popular this time of year, and find out that a store has none of it.
4. Lines which are too long. Some customers walk in and walk out. The wait is not worth it.
5. No seats. A large number of the Starbucks in places with heavy traffic have too few seats to accommodate even a small number of people.
6. No food. Some stores run out of the most popular food items early in the day
