The latest Reuters/Ipsos reports that over 60% of those asked favor the “Buffett” tax. This tax would make people who earn over $1 million a year to have a minimum tax rate of 30%. The polls does not break out the results of the answers of individuals who make more than $1 million a year. The sample size may be too small to do so. If they could be measured, it is likely that their opinions would be different from people who make $50,000.
