A 170-acre ranch near Durango, Colo., bills itself as “A Bud+Breakfast™ Mountain Resort,” the first marijuana-friendly resort in the United States. CannaCamp features cannabis-infused massage therapy, cooking classes and, of course, the 4:20 Happy Hour, among other activities.

The resort does not sell marijuana on the premises but will direct guests to nearby dispensaries. Guests can bring their own of course. Smoking is not allowed inside guest cabins, but porches and decks are available. Ponderosa Suites (two bedrooms, up to four guests) cost $359 per night and Cabin Suites (two bedrooms, up to seven guests) are $449.

CannaCamp is one of three properties owned and operated by The MaryJane Group. The company also owns two “Bud+Breakfast” locations in Colorado, one in Denver and the other in Silverthorne in the heart of Rocky Mountain ski country. Silverthorne is a Grateful Dead-themed property, according to the company’s website.

The mountain resort is prohibited by Colorado law from serving cannabis-infused food, but the camp does offer a THC Fusion cooking class, which it claims is a “wonderful way to educate guests on how to safely and responsibly infuse meals with THC and CBD.” For the more adventurous, hiking, biking, climbing and zip lining are also on the menu.

CannaCamp opens for guests on July 1.
