Best Buy Previews Black Friday Deals

Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) released what the company called a preview of its Black Friday promotional brochure. The deals will be available in most stores beginning at 5:00 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving Day. The online store also will have doorbuster items available on Thanksgiving Day, but no starting time was announced.

Where the law permits, stores that open on Thanksgiving will be open until 1:00 a.m. Friday and then re-open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and remain open until 10.00 p.m.

To start things off, Best Buy is kicking off its Black Friday promotion with 16 items from the sale that are available right now. Savings of up to $400 are available.

Here are some of the items that are selling at low prices now:

  • A 12.3-inch Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with 128 GB of internal storage (model #DQS-00001) for $599.99, a savings of $400 from the regular price. Standard shipping is free.
  • A Vizio 70-inch 2160p 4K Ultra HD display with built-in Chromecast (model #E70-E3) for $999.99, a savings of $300 from the regular price. Standard shipping is free.
  • A 13.3-inch Apple MacBook Air with Intel Core i5, 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of flash storage (model #MMGG2LL/A) for $999.99, a savings of $200. Two-day shipping is free.
  • Bose SoundSport In-Ear headphones (model #SoundSport IE HP BLK) for $39.99, a savings of $60 from the regular price. Two-day shipping is free.

Other items in the Black Friday ad that may be available early include an Amazon Fire 8-inch HD8 tablet for $59.99, a savings of $30 from the regular price, and a Fire 7-inch tablet for $33.33, a savings of $16.66. Those items are shown on the first page of the Black Friday ad.
