Asia Markets And Europe Open 6/16/2009

chinaMost markets in Asia were sharply lower.

The Nikkei fell 2.9% to 9,753.

The Hang Seng was off 2.3% to 18,092.

The Shanghai Composite was down .5% to 2,776.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE moved up .5% to 4,350. The Dax rose .4% to 4,910 and the CAC 40 was up .4%.
