US May Help India With Oil Supplies

India, Japan, and several other large nations which depend on Iranian oil have tried to cut imports from that country as new sanctions against it begin. The US and EU have continues to pressure Iran over its nuclear weapons program

Japan is said to have agreed to cut Iranian oil imports by 20%, which could increase the price it pays for crude, but it does not want to be caught in the web of sanctions against nations which do business with Iran.

India needs help with its oil supply if it is to participate in the lowering of Iranian imports. And, the US may come to its aid.

According to Bloomberg

The U.S. may help broker deals with suppliers such as Iraq and Saudi Arabia
