Icahn Buys Nearly 13% of Herbalife (HLF)

Carl Icahn filed documents with the SEC which show he owns just short of 13% (12.98%) of Herbalife (NYSE: HLF). The news pushed shares up by as much as 20% after hours.

The actual parties holdings the stock include Icahn Enterprises G.P. Inc

Herbalife has been wrecked by accusations that it is a Ponzi operation, which has drawn the attention of federal regulators.
