May 13, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 47 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Avon Products Inc. (NYSE: AVP) dropped about 1.3% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $6.67 after closing at $6.76 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $15.10. Share volume was about 30% lower than the daily average of around 13.3 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today.

CenterPoint Energy Inc. (NYSE: CNP)) dropped about 1% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $19.63 against a 52-week high of $25.75. The stock closed at $19.79 on Tuesday night. Volume was about 45% above the daily average of around 3.9 million shares. The utility company posted lower-than-expected results on Monday and shares keep dropping as a result.

Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (NASDAQ: MPEL) posted a new 52-week low on Wednesday. Shares dropped 4.4% to $18.90 from Tuesday’s closing price of $19.78. The stock’s 52-week high is $5.64. Volume was about equal to the daily average of around 3.8 million shares. The resort and casino operator is getting beaten up over the drop in Macau gambling.

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: KORS) dropped about 2.2% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $60.77 after closing at $62.15 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $98.96. Share volume was about a 20% below the daily average of around 2.9 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today, but the stock was likely reacting to a weak report from competitor Ralph Lauren.
