Peabody Energy Corp. (NYSE: BTU) dropped about 3.6% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $4.26 after closing at $4.42 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $19.05. Share volume was 20% below the daily average of around 12.3 million shares traded. The company was hit by the bankruptcy filing of Patriot Coal.
Keurig Green Mountain Inc (NASDAQ: GMCR) dropped about 9.4% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $93.34 against a 52-week high of $158.87. The stock closed at $103.07 on Thursday night. Volume was more than 5-times the daily average of around 1.7 million shares. The company launched its new cold-drinks machine today, but the actual roll-out is expected to take longer than expected and the price of the machine is sharply higher than the competing SodaStream beverage machine.
3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) posted a new 52-week low on Friday. Shares dropped about 5.4% to $20.82 from Thursday’s closing price of $22.01. The stock’s 52-week high is $69.56. Volume was about 40% above the daily average of around 2.7 million shares. The 3D printer maker replaced its CFO this morning.
Wynn Resorts Ltd. (NASDAQ: WYNN) dropped more than 2.5% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $106.02 after closing at $108.79 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $220.50. Share volume was about equal to the daily average of around 2.5 million shares traded. The casino operator was downgraded to Equal-Weight at Barclays this morning.
