Infosys, Noble Corp. Drop into Monday’s 52-Week Low Club

August 22, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 27 equities making new 52-week lows in Monday’s session. NYSE advancers and decliners were about evenly split and Nasdaq advancers led decliners by barely 3 percentage points.

Noble Corp. plc (NYSE: NE) dropped about 3.9% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $5.97 after closing at $6.21 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.64. Volume totaled about 7 million shares, about 20% below the daily average of around 8.8 million shares. The offshore services company had no specific news Monday.

Infosys Ltd. (NYSE: INFY) lost about 1.6% Monday to post a new 52-week low of $15.64 after closing Friday at $15.90. The 52-week high is $20.47. Volume of around 3 million was about 25% below the daily average of around 4.3 million. The India-based company had no specific news.

21Vianet Group Inc. (NASDAQ: VNET) dropped about 7.4% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $8.33 against a 52-week high of $29.65. Volume of around 2.6 million was about 30% above the daily average of around 1.8 million. The stock closed at $9.00 on Friday night. The company had no specific news Monday.

Liberty LiLAC Group (NASDAQ: LILAK) dropped 2.9% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $27.19 against a 52-week high of $44.95. Volume of around 1.7 million was about 10% above the daily average of around 1.2 million. The stock closed at $28.00 on Friday night.  The Latin American subsidiary of Liberty Global plc had no specific news.
