SunPower, QVC Join Friday's 52-Week Low Club

QVC Group (NASDAQ: QVCA) dropped about 2% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $19.20 against a 52-week high of $28.71. Volume of around 7.7 million was about more than the daily average of around 3.4 million. The stock closed at $19.59 on Thursday night. The TV shopping channel had no specific news Friday.

Tractor Supply Co. (NASDAQ: TSCO) lost about 1.8% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $68.13 after closing Thursday at $69.38. The 52-week high is $97.25. Volume of more than 4.4 million was more than 3 times the daily average of around 1.4 million. The agricultural supply store chopped guidance Thursday morning and investors have not finished expressing their displeasure.

SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) dropped about 8.2% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $9.29 after closing at $10.12 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $31.10. Volume was nearly equal to the daily average of around 2.6 million shares. The solar energy company had no specific news.

Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. (NASDAQ: SFM) dropped about 3.7% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $18.70 against a 52-week high of $30.00. Volume of around 3.8 million was about 30% above the daily average of around 2.8 million. The stock closed at $19.42 on Thursday night. The company had no specific news Friday, by grocery stores have had a tough week and times to not look to be improving. The stock turned higher later in the day and is on track to close with a gain of more than 1% for the day.
