February 22, 2017: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 50 equities making new 52-week lows in Wednesday’s session. On the NYSE, decliners led advancers by more than 4 to 3 and on the Nasdaq decliners led advancers by about 3 to 2.

Argos Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ARGS) dropped 72% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $1.25 after closing Tuesday at $4.40. The 52-week high is $13.97. Volume of about 6 million was nearly 30 times the daily average of less than 200,000. An independent trial monitoring company recommended that the company end a phase 3 trial of its kidney cancer drug.

Gulfport Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: GPOR) dropped about 3.1% on Wednesday to record a new 52-week low of $18.68. The stock closed at $19.28 on Tuesday. Volume was about 20% below the daily average of around 3.9 million shares. The company had no specific news Wednesday. TripAdvisor Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIP) dropped about 4% Wednesday, to post a new 52-week low of $44.96 after closing at $46.84 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $71.96. Volume was about 50% above the daily average of around 2.3 million shares. The company had no specific news today.

Primero Mining Corp. (NYSE: PPP) dropped more than 10% Wednesday, to post a new 52-week low of $0.68 after closing at $0.76 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $2.63. Volume was nearly 50% higher than the daily average of around 1.9 million shares. The company had no specific news.
