April 26, 2017: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 41 equities making new 52-week lows in Wednesday’s session. On the NYSE, advancers led decliners by about 3 to 2 and on the Nasdaq advancers led decliners by about 8 to 5.

DDR Corp. (NYSE: DDR) dropped nearly 10% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $11.19 after closing at $12.39 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $19.92. Volume was more than 5 times the daily average of around 4.4 million shares traded. The REIT reported profit this morning that beat estimates even though revenues were lower year over year.

New York Community Bank Inc. (NYSE: NYCB) dropped 5% Wednesday to post a new low of $13.05 after closing at $13.74 Tuesday night. The stock’s 52-week high is $17.68. Volume was about 80% above the daily average of around 4.8 million shares. The bank reported disappointing results this morning.

DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) dropped about 7.5% Wednesday to post a new post-reverse split low of $1.23 after closing Tuesday at $1.33. Volume of around 7.1 million shares was about 80% below the daily average of around 33 million. The company had no specific news.

GGP Inc. (NYSE: GGP) posted a new 52-week low of $22.12 on Wednesday, down about 2.2% compared with Tuesday’s closing price of $22.61. The stock’s 52-week high is $32.10. Volume of around 4 million shares was about 20% below the daily average of around 5 million shares. The retail REIT had no specific news.
