Best Buy Makes Last, Best Offers for 2016

December 31, 2016 by Paul Ausick

Sometimes it seems like retailers will take any occasion to try to create a promotion around. After a two-month long holiday shopping season, the one remaining occasion is the end of the old year and the beginning of the new. It does have a certain psychological impact after all.

Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) is promoting end-of-2016 pricing on hundreds of items, with the sale pricing ending at midnight Saturday. The offer kicked off on Christmas day and has been running for a week already, but not everyone knows that.

Being a seller primarily of consumer electronics, Best Buy is featuring electronic gear of all sorts, from fitness bands to UltraHD TVs. Here are a few of the offers that caught our eye.

A Dell Inspiron two-in-one, 13.3-inch laptop with 8 gigabytes (GB) of memory and a 256 GB solid state drive in gray (model #I7378-0028GRY) for $599.99, a savings of $200 (25%) from the regular price of $599.99. An open-box version is available for $539.99, and two-day shipping is free.
