(NYSE: LLY), Genentech, Helsinn, Eisai, and Montefiore/Einstein.

24/7 Wall St. has compiled a log of companies which have already signaled in press releases that they will be presenting data or that data will be presented on their behalf at the 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting. We have previewed more than 25 companies so far and that is not even including Big Pharma names. As of May 18, the total abstracts submitted were 5,264 and of those there have been 2,744 which have been accepted for presentation at ASCO. Of those accepted for presentation, some 1,859 are going to be ‘ePublication only’ for viewers. The breakdown for the Abstracts shows that the oral presentation is currently 257 presentations and 2,487 are listed as poster presentation only.

The most presentations accepted (203) so far are focused on Genitourinary Cancer, which covers urinary tract and male genital tract as follows: Prostate cancer; Bladder cancer; Kidney cancer; Testicular cancer; Penile cancer; Nonmalignant tumors of the urinary tract and male reproductive system; and Von Hippel Lindau disease. As of today, the fewest accepted presentations (93) cover Pediatric oncology.

Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN), the largest independent biotech that there is, recently showed updated results from a Phase 2 study showing that treatment with blinatumomab helped achieve a high-rate of complete response in 72% of adult patients with relapsed or refractory B-precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated in the study. This blinatumomab is the first of a new class of agents called bi-specific T cell engagers antibodies, which are designed to harness the body’s cell-destroying T cells to kill cancer cells. Blinatumomab targets cells expressing CD19, a protein found on the surface of B-cell derived leukemias and lymphomas, such as ALL. Full results of the study will be presented during an oral abstract session on June 4 at the ASCO Annual Meeting.

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) recently sold off but will will have updated clinical data from the pivotal PACE trial of ponatinib, its investigational pan-BCR-ABL inhibitor in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) on June 4. The company said that the data will form the basis of its regulatory filings for marketing approval of Ponatinib for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia and Philadelphia-chromosome positive acute lymphoblasatic leukemia.

ArQule, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARQL) and Daiichi Sankyo, Co., Ltd. (Japan) will have an oral presentation at the ASCO Annual Meeting featuring Phase 2 trial data with tivantinib as a single agent investigational second-line treatment in hepatocellular carcinoma. ArQule announced that this randomized, double-blind study met its primary endpoint in January and will now present the full results from this trial, including positive data in the pre-defined c-MET high population. Additional clinical data with tivantinib will be featured in two poster discussions and two general poster sessions.

Array BioPharma Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) has recently risen on its lung cancer and melanoma results. The company has three oral presentations at the annual meeting after having already presented Phase 1 data on MEK162 in 28 patients with biliary tract cancer at the ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in January 2012 showing that it was well tolerated and showed evidence of clinical efficacy in this patient population, including a complete response and a partial response. Stable disease was observed in 12 patients. The company has licensed selumetinib to AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN) and licensed MEK162 to Novartis (NYSE: NVS).

(NYSE: LLY), Genentech, Helsinn, Eisai, and Montefiore/Einstein.

24/7 Wall St. wanted to make a log of companies which have already signaled that they will be presenting data or that data will be presented on their behalf at the 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting. The data below is as follows:

As of May 10, the total abstracts submitted were 5,264 and of those there have been 2,744 which have been accepted for presentation at ASCO.

As of today, the fewest accepted presentations (93) covers Pediatric oncology.

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) will have updated clinical data from the pivotal PACE trial of ponatinib, our investigational pan-BCR-ABL inhibitor in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).

Array BioPharma Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) recently noted that it “presented Phase 1 data on MEK162 in 28 patients with biliary tract cancer at the ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in January 2012. MEK162 was well tolerated and showed evidence of clinical efficacy in this patient population, including a complete response and a partial response. Stable disease was observed in 12 patients.”

Biovest International, Inc. (OTCQB: BVTI), a majority-owned subsidiary of Accentia Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCQB: ABPI) announced in early May that the new data from the BiovaxID® Phase II mantle cell lymphoma clinical trial conducted by the U.S. National Cancer Institute will be presented by the NCI at the 2012 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting.

Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDX) previously noted that interim topline results of the Phase 2b EMERGE study of CDX-011 in patients with advanced breast cancer will be presented in a webcast on May 23, 2012 but it is not going to get in at ASCO as it noted, “Celldex anticipated presenting these topline results at the American Society of Clinical Oncology 2012 Annual Meeting. Due to a clerical error in which the incorrect submission category was inadvertently selected in the on-line ASCO submission form, the abstract for the EMERGE study was not considered for acceptance. Celldex attempted to rectify this clerical error but was informed that no exceptions are made to the submission policy.” Call this the “ASCO-less ASCO presentation.”

CytRx Corporation (NASDAQ: CYTR) will present data from its Phase 1b/2 clinical trial in patients with advanced solid tumors, primarily soft tissue sarcomas.

Exelixis, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXEL) recently announced that cabozantinib will be the subject of nine presentations at the upcoming Annual Meeting… The company noted that cabozantinib encompasses phase 3 pivotal trials in medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) and metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).

Galena Biopharma (NASDAQ: GALE) will present “Safety and Long-Term Maintenance of Anti-HER2 Immunity Following Booster Inoculations of the E75 Breast Cancer Vaccine” and it will host a panel called “HER2 Targeted Cancer Therapies” which includes NeuVax update from the Phase 2 and current Phase 3 PRESENT trials.

Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTCBB: GNBT) will be presenting data on its breast cancer treatment ambitions.

Genomic Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: GHDX) recently announced that 18 abstracts were accepted for presentation at ASCO which will be highlighting Breast, Colon and Prostate progress.

ImmunoGen, Inc.

At about noon, the three major equity indexes have all turned positive after an up-and-down morning. The DJIA is up about 11 points at about 12,896, the Nasdaq is ;up about 7 points at around 2,923, and the S&P 500 is up less than 1 point to 1,351. The markets are still waiting to hear some solid, good news on the Greek debt swap deal. The dollar is weaker against the euro and the British pound, and up against the Japanese yen, and the dollar index is down -0.283% at 78.515, slightly below where it started the day.

Among the major movers at around noon today are Imperial Sugar Co. (NASDAQ: IPSU), Diamond Foods Inc. (NASDAQ: DMND), Trina Solar Ltd. (NYSE: TSL), Array BioPharma Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY), and A123 Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: AONE).

Imperial Sugar is up nearly 49% at $5.00. Volume is about already about 8x the daily average of about 430,000 shares traded. The sugar refiner and marketer said it is nearing a sale of one of its divisions.

Diamond Foods is down more than -36% at $23.31 after posting a new 52-week low of $21.44 earlier this morning. Volume is nearly 10x the daily average of 2.6 million shares traded. The snack food maker will re-state accounting and that jeopardizes the deal to purchase the Pringles brand from Proctor & Gamble (NYSE: PG). See our coverage here.

Trina Solar is up about 23% at $11.34. Volume is about 3x the daily average of around 3.3 million shares traded. The solar panel maker is getting a big boost from a report that China will add about 3,000 megawatts of solar PV generation this year, although some analysts think the total will be double that. Other Chinese solar panel makers are also getting a nice bump from the news.

Array BioPharma is down more than -16% at $2.66. About 5 million shares have traded by mid-day, compared with a daily average of around 360,000. The pharmaceutical maker has priced a secondary offering of 20 million shares at $2.60.

A123 shares are down more than -13% at $2.14. More than 4.7 million shares have already traded this morning, compared with a 3-month daily average of about about 2.7 million shares. The battery maker was downgraded to ‘sell’ at Wunderlich on the failure of one of its customers, Fisker Automotive, to secure additional federal funding.

(NASDAQ: AGEN), Array BioPharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY), Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ), Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD), Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: HGSI), NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: NPSP), QLT Inc. (NASDAQ: QLTI), Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: RPTP), and StemCells, Inc. (NASDAQ: STEM). The news and impact today is enough to denote the Biotech HOLDRs (NYSE: BBH), iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology (NASDAQ: IBB) ETF, and the PowerShares Dynamic Biotech & Genome (NYSE: PBE).

We have tried to smooth out the non-news movers today to mainly focus on those moving on their own news rather than on news of peers.

Antigenics Inc. (NASDAQ: AGEN) is up today on an article out yesterday from Cleveland Live, although it was out yesterday morning so there could be additional chats out there. Still, for a down-sector tape this one is solid with gains so far of 3.4% at $1.21 on over 3 million shares. The 52-week range is $0.51 to $3.34 and the average volume is 1.2 million shares.

Array BioPharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) is holding up very well after yesterday’s huge drug partnership gains. After a 33% gain yesterday, the stock is down “only” 4% at $3.86 on 1.8 million shares.

Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ) is up after earnings with $0.37 EPS on a 6% drop in revenues to $1.07 billion versus estimates of $0.33 EPS and $1.14 billion in revenues. Perhaps more importantly, Genzyme sees a $175 million consent decree disgorgement for its Allston plant woes. That sounds bad, but some have felt that the Allston plant fines, woes, and remedies might cost much more than that. Shares are up 1.75% at $54.53 on about 5.3 million shares.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) is down sharply after its earnings were $0.99 EPS vs. $0.96 estimates and revenue rose 36% to $2.09 billion, but it lowered its 2010 sales outlook partly due to healthcare reform. This has put a tilt on the whole sector today and probably kept a lid on some stocks which might have otherwise risen as this is the #2 biotech by market cap in America. Shares are down a sharp 9.75% at $40.66 on over 57 million shares. Gilead hit a new 52-week today now that its 52-week range is $39.90 to $50.00.

Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: HGSI) is again probably feeling lucky. Yesterday’s near-$2 drop could have been far worse after its Benlysta secondary endpoint was not met. Today, shares are trading down only 0.4% at $29.48 and the $29.28 low today is handily above the low yesterday of $27.72.

NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: NPSP) is down marginally after it closed that securities offering $53.3 million, which does include the over-allotment options being exercised. Shares are trading down 1.4% at $6.39 on 650,000 shares.

QLT Inc. (NASDAQ: QLTI) is up again for a day-two run after yesterday’s news that all three of the patients enrolled in a Phase 1 study experienced clinically relevant improvements in one or more visual function parameters in inherited progressive retinal degenerative disease. This actually hit a new 52-week high today. Shares are trading up 4.7% at $6.45 on over 225,000 shares. Average volume is only 155,000 shares and the new 52-week range is $1.93 to $6.48.

Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: RPTP) is one which you might think is never talked about, but this stock was started in new analyst coverage with a ‘Buy’ rating at Ladenberg Thalmann. Even after the gains, the market cap is a mere $37 million. This one is seeking cures and treatments for various brain disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, genetic disorders, and cancer with its own proprietary use of receptor-associated proteins and mesoderm development proteins. Shares are up 17.7% at $1.66 on about 900,000 shares. This barely trades 50,000 on an average day and the 52-week trading range is $0.07 to $4.90.

StemCells, Inc. (NASDAQ: STEM) sounded like big news, although the stock reaction is not indicating that it is. The company announced this morning that it plans to advance to a second clinical trial in Batten Disease with an increased emphasis on the measurement of clinical benefit rather than just a safety profile. Shares are up almost 1% at $1.18 on 1.4 million shares. The average volume is only 1.3 million shares and the 52-week range is $1.02 to $1.94.

Biotech HOLDRs (NYSE: BBH) appears to have tested its 200-day moving averages after Gilead reported, and Gilead makes up almost 28% of this ETF. The Biotech HOLDRs is trading down 4.15% at $98.45. The iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology (NASDAQ: IBB) ETF is down 2% at $90.35 on over 1.5 million shares, about 250% of normal volume.

PowerShares Dynamic Biotech & Genome (NYSE: PBE) is down today, but it continues to challenge the brain at a time when so many components in its holdings are not at highs. This hit a 52-week of $20.06 early this morning, but shares are now trading down about 1% at $19.83 on only about 26,000 shares. This one keeps mysteriously hitting 52-week highs.

Small biopharma stocks sometimes have that one big day, the day that there investors wait for. Array Biopharma (NASDAQ:ARRY) moved higher by 30% early in the day to $3.11. The little firm entered into an agreement granting Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) exclusive worldwide rights to Array’s small-molecule glucokinase activator program, including ARRY-403, being tested in a Phase 1 clinical trial in patients with Type 2 diabetes.

Under the terms of the agreement, Array will receive an upfront payment of $60 million and additional contingent payments for certain clinical and commercial milestones. Array is responsible for completing the Phase 1 trial for ARRY-403. Amgen is responsible for future clinical development and commercialization for ARRY-403 and any resulting back-up compounds, with Array able to co-promote in the United States. Array will receive double-digit royalties on sales of ARRY-403. In addition, Amgen will fund an agreed upon number of full-time Array employees as part of a two-year research collaboration intended to identify and advance second-generation glucokinase activators.

Array is hardly in good shape. The company lost $25 million on revenue of $5 million in the quarter ending September 30. Array has cash of $77 million but net long-term debt of $108 million.

Array has a market cap of $143 million.
