This Month’s Biggest Index Gainers: Geothermal, Brazil, And Chinese Travel Stocks

There were strong gains in three Tickerspy indexes over the most recent 30-day period. This month’s biggest risers are in Geothermal Stocks, Brazil Stocks and ADRs and Chinese Travel Stocks.

As the global economy pushes more for green energy, Geothermal stocks are up 10.5% in the past month. The best performing stocks in the sector are Nevada Geothermal PW, (OTC: NGLPF) up 26.5%, US Geothermal Inc., (AMEX: HTM) up 9.9%, and Ormat Technologies Inc., (NYSE: ORA) up 4.7%.

Brazil stocks and ADRs are up 10.5% in the past month. The best performing stocks in the sector are Braskem S.A., (NYSE: BAK) up 23.4%, Brasil Telecom S.A., (NYSE: BTM) up 22.1%, and Cosan Ltd., (NYSE: CZZ) up 17.6%.

Chinese Travel Stocks are up 10.1% in the past month. The best performing stocks in the sector are eLong Inc., (NASDAQ: LONG) up 27.1%, Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc., (NASDAQ: HMIN) up 20.1%, and Ctrip.com International Ltd., (NASDAQ: CTRP) up 16.1%.
