The initial task is to produce samples ofASTM-nationally approved bio-diesel from liquid brown trap grease overthe next several weeks, and to then provide a suitable environment todemonstrate this process to haulers, blenders, and commercial andmunicipal waste disposal officials interested in turning this “messynuisance” into a valuable resource.</p>
<p>Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG) today announced that its subsidiary,Constellation NewEnergy, has agreed to supply 250,000 kilowatt hours ofGreen-e Certified Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to match 100percent of the electricity usage during the Sustainable Brands &#8217;07Conference currently under way in New Orleans. </p>
<p>Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) announced a new integrated globaladvertising campaign this week aimed at engaging people in today&#8217;senergy issues and highlighting the steps Chevron is taking to bringmore energy supplies to the global marketplace. The campaign, calledthe &quot;Power of Human Energy,&quot; will launch on television in the UnitedStates on Sept. 30 and internationally on Oct. 5.</p>
