Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) amended the joint venture contract with Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd. under which Yingli Green Energy will contribute additional capital of US$236.6 million to its principal operating subsidiary in China, Baoding Tianwei Yingli New Energy Resources Co., Ltd.

Plum Creek (NYSE:PCL) was noted positively on ethanol help on "Inside Wall Street" in Business Week.

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) opened a new solar plant in Malaysia; First Solar was one of the WINDOW DRESSING stocks this week (see Friday notes on this) with more than 25% stock price gains.

SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWR) is partnering with Macy’s to install solar power in stores in California.

Fuel Tech (NASDAQ:FTEK) was awarded air pollution control orders totaling $4.8 Million.  This is the "cleaning up coal plants" player.

CGM’s Ken Heeber talked up Oil Services On CNBC (SLB, BHI), although we haven’t gotten his read on alternatibve energy.  This sounded much like T. Boone Pickens bullish call recently that we’ve addressed.

Uranium Energy Corp (AMEX:UEC) stock moved from Pink Sheets to AMEXtoday, giving it a better focus and better capital access….. this oneis trying to a be nuclear player, but not a nukular one.

Neah Power Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NPWS) demonstrated a working prototypeof its fuel cell with a nucleus of Neah Power’s patented andproprietary porous silicon electrodes and the necessary components forindependent operation.

Bio Solutions Manufacturing, Inc. (OTC BB: BSLM) announced Thursdaynight that it signed a commercial lease agreement for a R&D Centerin Hawley, Pennsylvania. The initial task is to produce samples ofASTM-nationally approved bio-diesel from liquid brown trap grease overthe next several weeks, and to then provide a suitable environment todemonstrate this process to haulers, blenders, and commercial andmunicipal waste disposal officials interested in turning this “messynuisance” into a valuable resource.

Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG) today announced that its subsidiary,Constellation NewEnergy, has agreed to supply 250,000 kilowatt hours ofGreen-e Certified Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to match 100percent of the electricity usage during the Sustainable Brands ’07Conference currently under way in New Orleans.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) announced a new integrated globaladvertising campaign this week aimed at engaging people in today’senergy issues and highlighting the steps Chevron is taking to bringmore energy supplies to the global marketplace. The campaign, calledthe "Power of Human Energy," will launch on television in the UnitedStates on Sept. 30 and internationally on Oct. 5.
