Johnson & Johnson’s (JNJ) Good Quarter

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) announced third-quarter sales of $15.0 billion, an increase of 12.7% as compared to the third quarter of 2006.Net earnings and diluted earnings per share for the third quarter of 2007 were $2.5 billion and $.88, representing decreases of 7.7% and 6.4%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2006.

JNJ  increased its earnings guidance for full-year 2007, which excludes the impact of in- process research and development charges, restructuring charges or other special items, to between $4.10 and $4.13 per share
