Markets in Europe were mixed at 6.25 AM New York time.

The FTSE was up .3% to 6,534. Barclays (BCS) was up 1.3% to 596. Prudential (PUK) was up 1.5% to 755.5. Standard Chartered was up 1.7% to 1663.

The DAXX was off .1% to 7,833. Commerzbank was down 1.3% to 28.83. Daimler was up 2.9% to 75.33. SAP (SAP) was down 1.3% to 37.02. Siemens (SI) was down 1.2% to 90.39.

The CAC 40 was up .1% to 5,711. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) was up 2.2% to 6.65. France Telecom (FTE) was down 1% to 23.74.
