Asia Markets And Europe Open 12/8/2008

Markets in Asia were higher
The Nikkei rose 5.2% to 8,329.
The Hang Seng was up 8.4% to 15,002.
The Shanghai Composite rose 3.6% to 2,091.
At the open, the FTSE was up 6.1% to 4,297. The Dax was higher by 6.1% to 4,650, and the CAC 40 was up 6.9% to 2,192.
