Asia Markets And Europe Open 12/18/2008

Markets in Asia were mostly higher.
The Nikkei rose .6% to 8,867. Honda (HMC) dropped after cutting profit forecasts.
The Hang Seng rose .1% to 14,474.
The Shangai Composite moved up 2% to 2,016.
At the open, the FTSE was down .3% to 4,312. The Dax was up .4$ to 4,729 and the CAC 40 was up .4% to 3,254.
