Gold Is Preferred Investment Asset For 2012–Nomura

A study by Nomura shows that gold is the preferred investment for institutional investors for 2012.

Via CNBC:

Of the 164 investors who took part in Nomura’s poll, 19.5 percent said they would choose to buy gold and hold it until the end of the year.

Based on its trading level of $1,637, the precious metal’s price is down from a 52-week high of $1,916, and up from a 52-week low of $1,321.
