The 52-Week Low Club for Tuesday

Zillow Ic. (NASDAQ: Z) dropped about 12.8% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $81.07 against a high of $164.90. The stock closed at $92.94 on Monday night. Volume was more than 9-times the daily average of around 1.8 million shares. The company lowered its revenue outlook on the costs of integrating its Trulia acquisition. Zillow blamed a slow FTC approval process for the weak forecast.

Apollo Education Group Inc. (NASDAQ: APOL) dropped another 0.7% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $16.58 after closing at $16.69 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $34.55. Share volume was about 40% above the daily average of 1.67 million shares traded. The for-profit higher education company had no news today, but continues its string of new lows for a fifth straight day. The stock closed last Monday at $18.00 and has lost about 7.2% since then.

Sonus Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: SONS) dropped about 1.2% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $7.52 after closing at $7.61 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $21.25. Share volume totaled about 50% below the daily average of around 1.2 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today.

Rocket Fuel Inc. (NASDAQ: FUEL) also posted a new 52-week low on Tuesday. Shares dropped about 1.8% to $8.68 from Monday’s closing price of $8.84. The stock’s 52-week high is $38.32. Volume is about half the daily average of around 750,000 shares. The company had no specific news today.
