The 52-Week Low Club for Wednesday

April 29, 20down market15: Here are four stocks among the 58 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Annaly Capital Management Inc. (NYSE: NLY) dropped about another 1.1% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $10.04 against a high of $11.95. The stock closed at $10.15 on Tuesday night. Volume was about 25% above the daily average of around 7.6 million shares. The company had no specific news again today, but maybe investors are selling ahead of the firm’s earnings release set for a week from Friday.

Lumber Liquidators Inc. (NYSE: LL) also posted a new 52-week low on Wednesday. Shares dropped more than 20% to $26.54 from Tuesday’s closing price of $33.42. The stock’s 52-week high is $92.49. Volume is nearly double the daily average of around 5.4 million shares. The flooring manufacturer posted a loss this morning and that’s just the beginning of its troubles.

Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS) dropped about 22.5% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $39.75 after closing at $51.30 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $130.83. Share volume was about 7-times the daily average of around 1.5 million shares traded. The company warned on first quarter earnings late on Tuesday.

Wynn Resorts Ltd. (NASDAQ: WYNN) dropped about 17% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $108.27 after closing at $130.48 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $222.33. Share volume was more than 6-times the daily average of around 2.2 million shares traded. The resort and casino operator posted a loss and cut its dividend after markets closed on Tuesday.
