ImmunoGen, CVR Top Thursday’s 52-Week Low Club

July 14, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among just 13 equities making new 52-week lows in Thursday’s session. Volumes did not rise about 1 million for any of the losers. NYSE advancers led decliners by 3 to 2 and Nasdaq advancers led decliners by about the same margin.

ImmunoGen Inc. (NASDAQ: IMGN) lost about 2.1% to post a new 52-week low of $2.76 versus a high of $19.43. Volume totaled about 65% less than the daily average of nearly 2.3 million. The biotech firm had no specific news Thursday.

CVR Inc. (NYSE: CVI) dropped about 1.3% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $14.13 against a 52-week high of $48.37. Volume was about 25% below the daily average of around 730,000. The stock closed at $14.31 on Wednesday night. The oil refiner and fertilizer maker had no specific news.

Calithera Biosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: CALA) fell by about 5% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $3.24 against a high of $10.90. The stock closed at $11.3.41 on Wednesday night. Volume more than doubled the stock’s daily average of around 130,000. The company had no specific news.

Regenxbio Inc. (NASDAQ: RGNX) slipped 3.7% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $7.30 after closing at $7.58 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $32.00. Volume reached 60% more than the daily average of around 160,000 shares. The company had no news for the day.
