Volume was around 14 million, about 10% above the daily average. The company priced an offering of $1.1 billion in senior 2.1% notes late yesterday.

Discovery Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: DISCA) posted a new 52-week low of $20.53 on Tuesday, down about 2.2% from Monday’s closing price of $20.98. The stock’s 52-week high is $55.08. Volume totaled around 5.5 million shares, about 25% above the daily average. The company had no specific news.
