Biocept Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOC) traded down nearly 42% Friday and posted a new 52-week low of $0.32 after closing Thursday at $0.55. The stock’s 52-week high is $2.76. Volume was over 15 million, more than 18 times the daily average of about 815,000 shares. The company priced a secondary stock offering this morning of 33.33 million units (one share plus one warrant) for $0.45 per unit. This is the company’s second such offering in two months.
Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: KIM) dropped 2.1% Friday to post a 52-week low of $15.85 after closing at $16.19 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $25.18. Volume was around 10.3 million, more than double the daily average. The company had no specific news.
Colony NorthStar Inc. (NYSE: CLNS) dropped about 5.6% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $9.35 after closing at $9.90 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.74. Volume was around 8 million, more than double the daily average of around 3.6 million. The company had no specific news.
Pretium Resources Inc. (NYSE: PVG) fell nearly 11% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $7.42 after closing at $8.33 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $12.53. Volume of about 4.3 million was more than double the daily average of around 1.9 million shares traded. The shares opened at $7.54 and have added about 2.9% to that opening bid as the closing bell approaches.
