CBS, Cisco, Nvidia, JC Penney, Walmart and More Earnings Coming This Week

Now that the third-quarter earnings reporting season is starting to wind down, a few more major companies will be sharing their results in the coming weeks. Here, 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most prominent of the many earnings reports that are expected this week.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history. Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Advance Auto Parts Inc. (NYSE: AAP) will report its third-quarter results before the markets open on Tuesday. Analysts on average are looking for $2.05 in earnings per share (EPS) and $2.3 billion in revenue. Shares were most recently trading at $167.40, and the consensus price target is $173.53. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $130.09 to $186.15.

CBS Corp. (NYSE: CBS) is expected to report its third-quarter first thing on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.91 in EPS and revenue of $3.36 billion. Shares were last seen at $38.11, in a 52-week trading range of $35.02 to $57.95. The consensus price target is $47.91.

Tyson Foods Inc.’s (NYSE: TSN) fiscal fourth-quarter report also is scheduled for Tuesday before the opening bell. The consensus forecast calls for $1.29 in EPS on $11.0 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $82.63 apiece on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $94.85, and the 52-week trading range is $49.77 to $94.07.

Expect Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (NYSE: PBR) to release its most recent quarterly results late on Tuesday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.34 in EPS and $20.87 billion in revenue for the third quarter. Shares closed at $15.82. The consensus price target is $20.28, and shares have traded between $11.89 and $17.90 in the past 52 weeks.

Tilray Inc. (NASDAQ: TLRY) is scheduled to report its third-quarter results on Tuesday afternoon as well. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.30 per share and revenue of $49.59 million. The stock was last trading at $23.42 a share. The consensus price target is $38.42, and the 52-week trading range is $20.20 to $120.40.

The NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) fiscal second-quarter report is expected Wednesday after the markets close. The consensus forecast calls for $0.94 in EPS on $1.38 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $59.41 on Friday. The consensus price target is just $54.16, and shares have traded in a 52-week range of $44.55 to $82.56.

Cisco Systems Inc.’s (NASDAQ: CSCO) fiscal first-quarter report is due after Wednesday’s closing bell as well. The consensus estimates are EPS of $0.81 and $13.08 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $48.83. The consensus price target is $55.09, and the 52-week range trading range is $40.25 to $58.26.

Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) is set to report its fiscal third-quarter results early on Thursday. The consensus estimates are $1.09 in EPS and $128.63 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $119.44. The consensus price target is $123.05, and the stock has a 52-week range of $85.78 to $120.92.

Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) is scheduled to report its fiscal third-quarter results on Thursday after the close. The consensus estimates call for $1.58 in EPS and revenue of $2.92 billion. Shares were last trading at $207.78. The consensus price target is $197.43, and the 52-week trading range is $124.46 to $211.70.

Look for Applied Materials Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) to release its most recent quarterly results late on Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.76 in EPS and $3.68 billion in revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter. Shares ended the week at $56.03. The consensus price target is $54.64, and shares have traded between $28.79 and $57.29 in the past 52 weeks.

And the J.C. Penney Co. Inc.  (NYSE: JCP) fiscal third-quarter results are expected Friday before the markets open. The consensus forecast sees a per-share net loss of $0.56 on revenue of $2.51 billion. The stock closed most recently at $1.03, in a 52-week range of $0.53 to $1.92. The consensus price target is $0.84.
