Handmade dumplings, from a menu that changes daily, are the big draw here, including varieties filled with chicken and napa cabbage, lamb and carrots, beef and cilantro, and shrimp with pork and Chinese chives. Chinese “burgers” on steamed buns — pork, beef, or vegetable — are another specialty, and there are also a few sauced meat dishes (spicy pig ear, beef in mushroom sauce) and noodle preparations, some involving noodles made with carrot juice.

“It doesn’t look like much when you walk pass this restaurant outside but the food will leave you begging for more,” wrote one local diner on Yelp last month, citing such dishes as the soup dumplings and the Chongqing SPICY beef noodle soup (caps hers) as examples. Noodles and dumplings are the things here, and other reviewers have liked the dumplings in hot chili oil, the Daoxiao pan-fried noodles with beef, and the pork noodle bowl.
