The bromance between doctors J.D. Dorian and Christopher Turk at fictional Sacred Heart Hospital on this NBC medical comedy included the “eagle running” joke. Turk would carry J.D. over his shoulders and spin him around as J.D. extends out his arms and shouts “Eagle!..”
