ConforMIS, Eldorado Gold Slip into Friday’s 52-Week Low Club

December 1, 2017: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 58 equities making new 52-week lows in Friday’s session. On the NYSE decliners led advancers by fewer than 11 issues and on the Nasdaq, decliners led advancers by nearly 2 to 1.

Cemex SAB de CV (NYSE: CX) dropped about 2.4% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $7.41 after closing at $7.59 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $10.37. Volume was around 8.8 million, about 15% below the daily average of around 9.3 million. The Mexico-based cement company had no specific news.

ConforMIS Inc. (NASDAQ: CFMS) dropped about 6.3% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $3.00 after closing at $3.19 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $9.47. Volume was around 5.6 million, about three times the daily average of around 180,000. The medical device company had no specific news.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (NYSE: EGO) posted a new 52-week low of $1.12 Friday, down less than 1% after closing at $1.13 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $3.91. Volume was about 4.8 million, around 30% below the daily average of around 7.7 million shares. The gold mining firm had no specific news.

Eagle Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: EGBN) dropped 28% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $47.65 after closing at $66.15 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $69.80. Volume of around 3.6 million was more than three times the daily average. The bank holding company had no specific news Friday.
