Wella files for NYSE IPO with an 18-bank syndicate

The KKR-backed hair care giant filed its S-1 to list on the NYSE, lining up 18 underwriters led by Goldman Sachs, BofA and J.P. Morgan. A syndicate that size signals a large deal, and terms have not been set yet, so the price range is the next thing to watch.

CLOSING BELL
U.S. Markets
  • S&P 500-0.26%
  • Dow Jones Industrial Average-0.59%
  • Nasdaq Composite-0.29%

Apple vs. Salesforce: The Better Stock May Not Be the One You Expect

Apple just posted a record quarter and Salesforce blew past earnings expectations, but the headline numbers on both stocks hide something the market may be mispricing. One trades at a steep discount to the other, and the cheaper one might be doing more with AI right now.

Musk is pushing Grok past search into checkout, where a bot haggles the price for you. If agents start negotiating discounts at scale, retail margins and payment rails are the ones absorbing it.

Grok @Bot will not only do your purchasing, but also find & negotiate the best deal https://t.co/rgVMQqGJIa [Quoted @segall_max]: I just used instinct and stripe link to buy my niece a hot pink piano… entirely from the messaging interface 🤯🤯 Instinct was even kind enough to find me a 15% off discount!!!! https://t.co/yP7Dl7p3fO
