November 28, 2012 by Paul AusickThe five most visited sites on Cyber Monday this year:
- Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) – 34.99 million visits, up 36% from 2011
- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) – 18.61 million visits, up 21%

The most visited retail site on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday was Amazon. Walmart received the second-largest number of visits on each of those days.
Experian also notes that traffic to online retail web sites is up 8% year-over-year. Combined with record high spending and a not-so-great weekend for bricks-and-mortar stores, online retailers look good going into the year’s biggest shopping season. Many retailers will be reporting November same-store sales results tomorrow.
