As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on July 30, 2026.

Corteva reported Q2 2026 earnings per share of $2.30, topping the consensus estimate of roughly $2.23 by about 3%. The beat extends the company's streak to four consecutive quarters of surpassing expectations, a run that now stretches back through Q3 2024. Revenue came in at $6.38 billion, however, falling short of the $6.60 billion analysts had forecast — a miss of about 3.3%.
The standout detail inside the report is the Seed segment, which posted a 6% jump in operating EBITDA on essentially flat sales. That combination signals that Corteva is extracting more value from its differentiated genetics portfolio through pricing rather than volume, a meaningful show of strength in an otherwise competitive agricultural input environment. The Crop Protection segment faced headwinds, a pattern that has pressured peers across the industry.

Looking ahead, management lifted its full-year guidance alongside the quarterly results, underscoring confidence in the back half of the year. The planned spin-off of the Vylor business remains on track for October, an event that could reshape how investors value the remaining Corteva portfolio once the two units trade independently.
