Annualized logs consumption nearly doubled in two quarters to $200 million, evidence that AI workloads are pulling enterprises onto the observability platform. Management raised full-year non-GAAP EPS guidance to $1.97 to $1.99 even after trimming ARR and revenue midpoints on currency headwinds.

Dynatrace reported Q1 2027 non-GAAP EPS of $0.48, clearing the $0.44 consensus estimate by about 8%. Revenue came in at $554.5 million, edging past estimates of $549.4 million by roughly 0.9%. The beat extends a consistent pattern: in every one of the past eight quarters, Dynatrace has reported EPS above Wall Street's forecast.
The standout detail from the quarter was the acceleration in logs consumption, which nearly doubled in just two quarters to an annualized run rate of $200 million. Management framed that as evidence that enterprise AI workloads are actively pulling customers deeper into the observability platform, rather than Dynatrace having to push them there.

On guidance, the picture is mixed. Management raised its full-year non-GAAP EPS outlook to a range of $1.97 to $1.99, a show of confidence in profitability. At the same time, it trimmed the midpoints of both its ARR and revenue guidance ranges, citing currency headwinds as the drag. Investors will want to watch whether that foreign-exchange pressure eases and whether the logs consumption growth rate holds in coming quarters.
