Asia Markets 12/1/2006 NTT Docomo Up, PCCW Off Sharly

Asian markets were mixed with the Hang Seng off sharply.

The Nikkei rose .3% to 16,322. Bridgestone was off 1.4% to 2500. Canon was down .7% to 6080. Daiwa Securities was down 1.3% to 1310. Fuji Film was up .4% to 4630. Hitachi was down .2% to 685. Honda was down 1.2% to 4050. NEC was up 1.6% to 562. NTT was down .5% to 583000. Docomo was up 2.3% t0 181000. Sharp was down .3% to 1944. Softbank was up 1.6% to 2465. Sony was up .9% to 4620 Toshiba was up 1.1% to 749. Toyota was down .6% to 6980. Yahoo Japan was down .1% to 45550.

The Hang Seng was off 1.4% to 18,691. Cathay Pacific was down 4.5% to 17.66. China Mobile was down 2.4% to 63.8. China Unicom was down 4.9% to 8.52. HSBC was down .1% to 144.3 PCCW was down 5% to 4.8.

The KOSPI was up .2% to 1,434.

The Straits Times was down .1% to 2,836.

The Shanghai Composite was up .1% to 2,102.
