The Nikkei was down .1% to 17,913. Bridgestone was up .8% to 2585. Canon was down 2.3% to 6470. Fuji FIlm was down .8% to 5210. Hitachi was down .7% to 833. Honda was down 1.3% to 4620. NEC was up .8% to 635. NTT was up .6% to 651000. Docomo was up .5% to 221000. Sharp was up 1.6% to 2265. Softbank was flat at 2880. Sony was up 1.4% to 6340. Toshiba was up .4% to 758. Toyota was flat at 8180. Yahoo Japan was flat at 45300.
The Hang Seng was up .4% to 20,651. Cathay Pacific was down .2% to 21.35. China Mobile was up 3.1% to 77.1. China Netcom was up 1.2% to 20.75. China Unicom was up 1.7% to 10.64. HSBC was down .7% to 139.1. PCCW was up 2.4% to 4.78.
The KOSPI was down .1% to 1,451.
The Straits Times was up 1.8% to 3,284.
The Shanghai market was closed.
