Google's (GOOG) Double Agent

Reuters reports that one or two people inside Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) may have provided hackers with a way into the search engine’s servers that allowed the cyberattack that could cause the company to leave China

The double agents must have gotten the trust of both the hackers, who may have performed their work for the Chinese government, and Google management in China.

Cybersecurity has a new wrinkle. People who work for companies with sophisticated software “walls” erected against intrusion may be the single best way to access well-guarded systems.

Spying has gone back to its human roots.
