Top Active Trader Alerts (AIB, IRE, CAGC, POT, RLD, SPU, SOMX)

Active traders and day traders have several big movers to choose from this morning.  Stocks on the move are Allied Irish Banks plc (NYSE: AIB), Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE), China Agritech Inc. (NASDAQ: CAGC), Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (NYSE: POT), RealD Inc. (NYSE: RLD), SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPU), and Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOMX).

Allied Irish Banks plc (NYSE: AIB) and The Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE) are both getting slapped after S&P downgraded Ireland’s debt ratings last night.  Allied is down 5.7% at $1.96, putting in a 52-week low under the $2.06 prior low.  BofI is down 3.37% at $3.73 and the 52-week trading range is $3.10 to $20.18.

China Agritech Inc. (NASDAQ: CAGC) is down 5.2% at $16.00 along with some of the fertilizer names.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (NYSE: POT) is trading lower this morning after BHP said it would be prudent in its bidding process for Potash Corp.  Shares are down 0.7% at $148.10.

RealD Inc. (NYSE: RLD) is trading up after at least three positive analyst initiations after its quiet period ended.  Shares are up 2.3% at $17.90 versus a post-IPO range of $17.30 to $20.00.

SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPU) is down sharply… -18% at $4.80 on 134,000 shares. This is on apparent secondary offering.

Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOMX) is soaring after P&G announced a co-promotion for its Silenor insomnia drug.  Shares are trading up 35% at $4.57 versus a 52-week range of $0.90 to $10.60.  There has also been more than 600,000 shares and the average volume is 1.8 million shares.
