Huge online jobs site Careerbuilder expects a better jobs market next year. The forecast comes with the usual warnings. Any threat to the economy could turn sentiment negative at both large and small companies
Careerbuilder reports in its 2012 US Jobs Forecast that
Twenty-three percent of employers surveyed plan to hire full-time,permanent employees in 2012, relatively unchanged from 24 percentfor 2011 and up from 20 percent for 2010. Seven percent expect todecrease headcount in 2012, the same as for 2011 and an improvementfrom 9 percent for 2010. Fifty-nine percent anticipate no change intheir staff levels while 11 percent are unsure.
