Sony to Get New President (SNE)

Reuters is reporting that the executive deputy president of Sony Corp. (NYSE: SNE), Kazuo Hirai, will be named as the company’s president by April of this year. Current chairman, CEO, and president Sir Howard Stringer will retain two of his titles.

Hirai is usually given the credit for Sony’s success in the gaming sector, and he is currently chief of the company’s consumer businesses.
