Mid-day Movers (INFI, RVBD, SOA, INFA, F)

Among the major movers at around noon today are Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: INFI), Riverbed Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: RVBD), Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA), Informatica Corp. (NASDAQ: INFA), and Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F).

Shares of Infinity were off -31% in early trading this morning and have lost another -6% or so as the company suffers from a cancelled drug trial.

Another big loser this morning has been Riverbed, which remains down more than -21% following a warning on first-quarter revenues.

Solutia has retained its 40% gain. The company is being acquired by Eastman Chemical Co. (NYSE: EMN) for $3.4 billion in cash and stock.

Informatica is still up about 16% following an improved first-quarter outlook.

Ford has moderated its loss somewhat, now down about -3% at $12.35. The company’s earnings were disappointing this morning.
