Do you remember the Special Purpose Acquisition Company IPO trends from before the recession?  The SPACs?  There is an initial public offering filing where paperwork was submitted to the SEC.  This one has a unique angle too… Russia and/or Eastern Europe.  A company called CIS Acquisition Ltd. has filed with the SEC….

The company is a newly formed company established under the laws of the British Virgin Islands and it was formed to acquire, through a merger, stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase or similar acquisition transaction, one or more operating businesses. While not limited to any particular geographic region or industry, the SPAC does note in its filing that it intends to focus on acquiring (or merging with) operating businesses which have the primary operations in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Chardan Capital Markets, LLC is listed on the tombstone as the underwriter.
