Facebook, Molycorp Join '52-Week Low' Club

Today’s 52-week low club, the third in 24/7 Wall St. history, includes a repeat guest and a newcomer. Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) also hit a 52-week low Friday, but we decided it was time to invite some other companies to join in on the fun.

Here are Friday’s members of the 52-week low club:

Shares of Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) fell 4.13% to $19.05 on trading volume of 115.9 million shares. The company’s shares have dropped since Thursday following the ending of the lockup period following its IPO. The 52-week low before Friday was $19.69.

Shares of Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) fell 11.83% to $9.84 on trading volume of 32.4 million shares. The company publicly offered $480 million in stock and debt Friday, which the company said was necessary to finance its capital expenses and operations throughout the year.
