Today’s sole winner is a solar energy company selling two projects, while today’s loser is a technology developer that cut its quarterly revenue guidance on weak demand.

Biggest Winner

Shares of SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR) are up 31.97% to $8.09 on trading volume of 6.5 million shares. The firm has sold two solar projects to MidAmerican Energy Holding Co., controlled by Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-B) for about $2.5 billion. The 52-week high is $9.54.

Biggest Loser

Shares of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX) are down 15.33% to $51.81 on trading volume of 4.6 million shares. The company, which develops data-management technology, cut its fourth-quarter sales projection from between $145 million and $150 million to just $119 million and $121 million. The 52-week low is $30.00.
