Share volume was 15% higher than the daily average of around 7.9 million shares traded. The company reported earnings this morning and even though the company beat estimates, it can’t catch a break.
Avon Products Inc. (NYSE: AVP) dropped about 1.2% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $6.95 after closing at $7.07 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $15.10. Share volume was about 50% below the daily average of around 13.6 million shares traded. The cosmetics firm’s stock continues to slide following a recent report that it’s efforts to find a buyer for some or all of the company have so far failed.
Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS) posted a new 52-week low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 3.7% to $34.94 from Wednesday’s closing price of $36.29. The stock’s 52-week high is $130.83. Volume was about double the daily average of around 1.3 million shares. The company had no specific news today.
