The 52-Week Low Club for Monday

March 14, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 10 equities making new 52-week lows in Monday’s session.

Lannett Company Inc. (NYSE: LCI) dropped by about 13.4% on Monday to post a new 52-week low at $19.41 after closing at $22.41 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $72.44. Share volume was nearly 3 times the daily average of around 1 million shares traded. The generic drug maker said it is currently reviewing its projected 2016 sales and indicated that if an update is needed one will be released by the end of next week.

Capital Product Partners LP (NASDAQ: CPLP) fell by about 11% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $2.61 against a high of $10.06. The stock closed at $2.94 on Friday night. Volume rose to around 3 million shares, about 3 times the daily average of around 1 million shares traded. The Greece-based shipping company had no specific news Monday.

Unisys Corp. (NYSE: UIS) dropped about 7.4% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $7.10 against a 52-week high of $24.38. The stock closed at $7.67 on Friday night. Volume rose to more than 2 million shares, more than double the stock’s daily average volume of around 820,000. The tech company had no specific news.

Vivint Solar Inc. (NYSE: VSLR) posted a new 52-week low on Monday. Shares traded at a low of $3.92, down about 6.4%, after closing at $4.19 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $16.00. Volume totaled more than double the daily average of around 540,000 million shares. The company had no specific news Monday.
