Vodafone, Invesco Slide into Monday's 52-Week Low Club

June 18, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 90 equities making new 52-week lows in Monday’s session. On the NYSE advancers led decliners by about 1.24 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, advancers led decliners by about 1.09 to 1.

Invesco Ltd. (NYSE: IVZ) traded down about 4.1% Monday and posted a new 52-week low of $26.37 after closing Friday at $27.51. The stock’s 52-week high is $38.43. Volume totaled about 7.1 million, more than double the daily average of around  3.3 million. The investment management firm launched a European ETF that gives investors exposure to Saudi Arabia.

Lloyd Banking Group plc (NYSE: LYG) traded down about 2.1% Monday to post a new 52-week low of $3.25 after closing Friday at $3.32. The stock’s 52-week high is $4.21. Volume was nearly 75% above the daily average of around 4.2 million shares. This British insurance group had no specific news Monday..

Vodafone Group plc (NASDAQ: VOD) fell 1.2% Monday to post a new 52-week low of $24.45. Shares closed at $24.74 on Friday. The 52-week high is $32.75. Volume of around 3.3 million was around 10% lower than the daily average of about 3.7 million. The company had no specific news.

MagneGas Corp. (NASDAQ: MGNA) dropped about 10% Monday to post a new 52-week low of $0.35. Shares closed at $0.39 on Friday and the stock’s 52-week high is $22.95 Volume was about 5 times the daily average of 560,000. The company had no specific news.
